English Which language is your favourite?

Which languages do you like most and which would you never learn or want to code in? And why?

I personally code in c because it allows to develop fast applications allowing me to have an exact control about the memory allocated and free'd. Though I want to switch to c++ someadays since it's object-oriented which is just modern and asked

I would never touch any of those visual-basic derivates because I simply don't like the very strange syntax and that it isn't that much platform independent.

But after nearly two years with PHP I need another language.

I suppose it will be AJAX

Currently there's no language I don't want to learn :]

PHP and AJAX are not real programming languages though, that's why they're not on my list

I know you php guys don't want to see php just as a scripting language. Php is sometimes very smiliar to c, I assume this is because it's made in c, therefore you can maybe call php as some sort of coding, it definitively has to be seperated from other real scripting languages I think, that's why it got a seperated forum in here

I'm currently learning java at school aswell, good to get into object oriented programming, in combination with c I hope I can make a good start in c++ then later on.

i like php, but my favourite programming language is Pascal
it might be because i didn't learned other languages
